Greenridge Investment Management has taken a stake in Pantera, the investment modelling software business for real estate. The investment comes as Pantera raises additional funds to further develop its artificial intelligence capabilities and grow the business.
The raise
Pantera was founded by Caleb Dunn, Alex Wilson and Jack Hammond, who worked together at property management software business Re-Leased, and completed its seed funding round in 2023.
The company is now raising additional funds to further develop its AI capabilities and grow the business. As well as investing, Greenridge will work with Pantera to help develop the product and create new features.
Why we raised
The current approach to investment modelling for real estate professionals is broken. It’s extremely time-intensive, costly, and prone to error.
Our software brings speed and precision to the process, empowering asset and investment managers to take a proactive approach that optimises efficiency and success. In this respect, Greenridge is a perfect business for us to work with as both a client and a partner with whom we can evolve our product.
An investor who is also a user
Combing through different investment opportunities to determine which are worth more detailed consideration is time-consuming for investment managers. Bik Bhuptani, Greenridge co-founder and managing director, said Pantera’s software helped make this process more efficient.
For the past three decades, Greenridge’s ability to find and evaluate assets that match our investors’ criteria has been the cornerstone of our business.
While we already have a team that evaluates deals, we see Pantera as bringing enhanced efficiency to this process, and also look forward to working with their team to further progress the platform and create new capabilities.
